I am a tutor who is passionate about Mathematics and Science. Having studied Biochemistry at Oriel College at Oxford, and Cambridge Pre-U at Winchester College before that, I have a strong academic background. I can tutor students in Chemistry and Mathematics up to GCSE and Biology up to A-level.

During my studies, I offered voluntary maths assistance to students in need and I now work at a specialist maths and science tuition centre in Amersham. The students at Numberprep include home-schooled children as well as SEN students referred to us by the Council. Myself and the other tutors have undergone extensive training, have current DBS checks and have a vast range of resources at our finger-tips. We encourage students, help them with their individual areas of difficulty and get great results.

I am enthusiastic and supportive and enjoy passing on my knowledge to others. I understand how different approaches work for different students, and I am able to adapt my tuition style accordingly. I have strong communication skills and am able to make difficult concepts seem simple through the use of visual aids and other tools. I set work to be completed outside of sessions to reinforce what we have covered and ensure we work hard on practical examples and exam techniques.
