I’m a friendly and positive tutor. I have been teaching for 6 years - all of my students have achieved their target grades. Though I come from a very academic background, I work in the arts as an actor, writer, director and radio producer - so my lessons are also creative and fun.

I was lucky enough to study a BA in English at UCL, one of the best universities in the UK for that degree. However the quality of English teaching I had until university was varied, and I know how difficult this can be, so I love to share some of what I`ve learnt with my English tutees.

I achieved an A* at Maths A-Level. Maths can be a really rewarding subject when you understand the processes, but can often seem unnecessarily intimidating. I love teaching Maths because students improve so much with the right teaching, and it`s so satisfying when they realise ‘I can actually do this!’.

I also studied an MA in Acting at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. Alongside tutoring I work as a drama facilitator, workshop leader and director. I often work with young people through the `National Youth Theatre` and `British Youth Music Theatre`.

My students have always achieved their target grades (or higher!) - In GCSEs: level 7 or above, and at A Level: B, A or A*.

I achieved straight A*s in my GSCES and A*AA (Maths, English, French) at A-Level. I received a 2:1 in my BA, with a 1st in my dissertation. I also achieved A*AA in three further AS qualifications (EPQ, Theatre Studies, Citizenship) and Distinction in an AQA Baccalaureate.
