Christopher

Chris was awarded an Organ Scholarship to Oxford University in 1980.
He graduated with a BA in Music.
He moved to Cambridge and graduated with M.Phil and Ph.D qualifications.
Alongside these he gained:
ARCM (Organ Teaching)
ARCO
CHM (Choir-training diploma)
and was awarded an Hon FLCM for services to music and education.

Experience: He was Assistant Director of Music at University College School, Hampstead, and taught piano, theory and organ.
He was Professor of Orchestration and Arranging at the Royal Military Schol of Music (Kneller Hall), teaching bandmasters and directors of music arranging for a wide array of ensembles - mostly wind instruments.
He became Principal Lecturer in Music at the London College of Music, teaching and examining up to level 7 (Postgraduate level).
He went on to be Head of LCM
Upon leaving LCM he went to be Managing Director of Harrison & Harrison, organ builders, of Durham.
He is Organist and Director of Music at St Pancras Church, Euston Road, and Artistic Director of the London Festival of Contemporary Church Music, which broadcasts on BBC Radio 3.
