I am an energetic, resourceful and results-oriented ESL/CSL teacher dedicated to language education and to developing and implementing creative and hands-on curriculum according to students’ proficiency. Being in educational field for more than 7 years, I have proven that I am a trustworthy individual who demonstrates patience, an approachable manner and who has excellent communication skills, especially when working collaboratively with faculties to meet students’ goals. I am currently teaching across London, primarily in primary schools and secondary schools.

About approaches for different age group:

For primary school students, secondary and students preparing for GCSE Chinese exam:
Struggling with grammar and insufficient vocabulary? No need to worry anymore! You will efficiently learn how to expand your vocabulary through my method, and apply it into communicative grammar games to increase your confidence in GCSE Chinese exam. We can also put more energy on the areas you would like to reinforce (listening, speaking, reading and writing). It is a highly customized course.

For business
Absolute beginner to Advanced beginner. You will learn how to greet in Mandarin to your friends and family, introduce your name, age, nationality as well as interest, be able to describe appearance and colors, tell the times, to count and to buy things in supermarket, to ask for directions and take transport.

Advanced beginner to intermediate: This course prepares you to confidently speak and use business Mandarin in your work field. It is designed for professionals who are planning to visit China/ Taiwan for business purpose. You will learn formal greetings, essential communication skills as well as Chinese business culture, which allow you to communicate successfully in business environment. Leaners with level 4 in HSK (CEFR A2) or above are encouraged for this.

Intermediate to advanced: The course gives your more in-depth perspective related to business Mandarin. You will develop more practical skills in communicating as well as essential vocabulary. More authentic materials will be provided and you will gain more confidence in making presentation, negotiating price, marketing and other work context trough realistic scenario with small group. Leaners with level 6 in HSK (CEFR B2) or above are welcome to stay with me.


For Travellers
Going on a holiday to China or Taiwan? Not a problem! In this lesson, you will learn survival Mandarin such as greeting, shopping, check-in in a hotel and ordering food in a restaurant. On top of this, you will learn Chinese festivals, with dos and dont’s that allow you to enjoy your trip as a cultural conscious traveller.
