I have worked as Head of English at two Scottish preparatory schools and I have an excellent reputation for preparing students for ISEB Pretest, CEM and 11+ school examinations. I was lead tutor for Britten Education in Hong Kong and I am a specialist tutor with Atom Learning. I am a fully qualified teacher and registered with the GTC.

I am also a numeracy coordinator, so I have the ability to teach English, Maths, VR and NVR to a very high standard.

Often, I start the journey with a child in year 4 or 5, so I am very happy to work with younger children on literacy or numeracy skills from a young age. I am hugely experienced and a recognised specialist in my field.

Availability: I teach online and have daytime availability, evening and weekend availability. I prefer to discuss this with potential clients.

Experience: I have been teaching for 25 years and have been a specialist 11+ tutor for the last 3 years, gaining an impeccable reputation with clients. Last year, over 90% of my pupils gained a place at one of their top 3 schools. I have prepared children for a huge range of independent and grammar schools, including London Consortium.

I use a state of the art, online interactive classroom which is very collaborative, and I have access to a wealth of learning materials. After every lesson, I produce a report with tailored homework (if required).
Over the years, I have built up excellent relationships with parents and pupils alike, and I am adept at scaffolding weak areas whilst constantly pushing children forward to give them the best possible chance of performing well in their 11+ examinations. I am also trained to conduct interview skills sessions.
