Hello, my name is Vyom and from September 2020 I started my 5 year Aeronautical Engineering course. I have always had a passion in this field, and so focusing on Maths and Physics have been a priority. I achieved excellent grades at GCSE`s with 4 x 9s including in the subjects mentioned above. Sitting the new GCSEs in 2018, I am very familiar with the layout of the content and specification. At A-Levels I took Maths, Physics where I achieved grade A in both subjects.

Being a STEM student myslef, I have excellent knowledge in these subjects, so I can deliver the lessons efficiently and effectively. I am an able tutor as I aim to adapt my teaching style to meet the certain needs of each individual student. I deliver Maths and all 3 Sciences at GCSEs and also Maths and Physics at A-Levels.

I first acknowledge the student`s current level and understanding before I start to tutor. This way, I can plan my lessons to suit the student`s capabilities.

For Maths, I tend not to have set format, but I start of with some new content. This then leads to some worked out example questions before progressing to all sorts of practice questions, varying in difficulty. These lessons occur when the students do not have any particular topic to learn. In other cases, my lessons revolve around the student`s questions and needs.

For Science, I like to have a format set out - as there is a lot of content that needs to be covered. I split every topics into relative chunks that can be taught in an hour alongside exam - style practice questions from the exam boards. This is so that student`s are exposed to different manner of questions.

Moreover, I believe in setting homework. Homework is a method to improve the student`s ability, but also so that whatever they have learnt in the lesson can be put into practice. Homework may vary in time depending on the amount of content that is covered in the lesson, but difficult questions are a guarantee to challenge the understanding of students.

Availability: I am available every evenings, mostly 6pm onwards. On weekends, I can do anytime suitable. We can find a time that suits both of us.

Experience: I have 5+ years of experience tutoring GCSE students for Maths and Physics. I tutor students who start to prepare learning the GCSE content. I also offer A-Level tuition for Maths and Physics. I have privately tutored many students before joining Tutorhunt and with my aid, all of my previous students have achieved at least 1 grade higher than expected, whilst many others have achieved 2 or more grades higher than predicted. Alongside Tutorhunt, I take contracted lessons from the UK`s best tutoring and exam centre - A-Team Academy where I have taught many students who have achieved outstanding grades - all at least a grade above their predicted.
