Fully Qualified Teacher with Qualified Teacher Status so I know the school curriculum well. I am also an experienced teacher in both primary school, IELTS, Cambridge English and university level academic studies.

Academic Advisor, Study Skills tutor and Specialist Mentor at various universities in London, China and Wales.

I am passionate about Creative Learning. I believe everyone of all ages can enjoy learning as long as they are focused, determined and enjoy what they are learning. Many children or students at some point will experience low self confidence or low self esteem if they`re struggling on a course.

An Autistic/ADHD Specialist, I also support university students who are autistic, who have ADHD/ADD, dyslexia, dyspraxia or any other neurodivergent trait or specific need.

In my lessons you or your child will learn that it is motivation and strategy that holds the key to achievement. I teach using solution focused, person centred teaching and learning methods.

Many visual learners are creative learners and find auditory learning difficult, so I use a variety of methods to find out your child or your strengths and then we focus on the weaknesses so that your child or you can feel empowered again. I have a Creative background and I have worked both in Education in schools and in universities. I have also worked clinically in NHS settings so I pay attention not only as a teacher, but using my clinical experience as a listener as well.

I use the creative arts, drama, reading, writing, listening, repetitive, visual, auditory, kinaesthetic learning tools in all my lessons.

I am also fluent in French. I prefer to tutor at home but I will make exceptions for students who need 1.5 or 2 hours but I will only teach in SW6/Hammersmith or near the Fulham Palace road.

My prices reflect my qualifications, expertise and skill.

Availability: My availability can change week to week some weeks but usually I am free all day Monday and Saturday, with availability in the mornings and evenings.

During Covid-19 I do online lessons only.

Experience: I work with university students who either have chronic health conditions, are neurodivergent, SpLD or mental health difficulties and need extra support with their study skills and academic work. All these students who were either failing or wanted to defer are now all at a 2:1 or First. The same with the students I see for IELTS if they were failing or unable to achieve a score they needed to get into university after intense lessons with me not only did their achieve their scores but they also gained high self confidence and were more determined to succeed at university.

I also help primary school children with special education needs, who may be foreign to English and are having to catch up and keep up with the others in the class or who may be struggling with their English reading, writing and language skills.
