Hi I`m Sophie I`m an experienced tutor in Physics and maths and have worked with a variety of students at different levels. I am familiar with the specifications and examinations of the various exam boards.

I have a true passion for my subject and aim to instill this enthusiasm for Physics in my students. I know that Physics is a challenging subject and can be daunting but I believe that with one to one tuition tailored to the student`s specific needs, they can progress and excel. By building a student`s confidence, the improvement soon follows.

I provide online tutoring which I like to keep interactive, with mini quizzes, discussions with the student, practicing using equations, practicing exam questions and past papers and much more. Keeping the session as interactive as possible is the best way to embed knowledge.

I provide comprehensive notes to students after the sessions to ensure they have all the resources they need for independent study. During the sessions we work together on worked examples using the interactive whiteboard, and I set further questions for students to try themselves and provide them with feedback.
