I am a fully qualified primary teacher with an interest and specialism in Maths. I teach part time in a primary school currently in Year 6 and I am the School`s Maths Lead. This ensures I am kept up to date with local and national curriculum guidance and I have attended various Shanghi Maths Sessions which have been fascinating.

I am an enthusiastic teacher and enjoy sharing my enjoyment of the subject with students to help them understand and achieve. I have taught for over 12 years in both the state and independent sector, and for a short time in Australia too.
I am currently tutoring a Year 10 student in Maths.

I have an enhanced CRB disclosure, not a DBS, since I`ve been continually employed at the same school for 10 years so haven`t had to renew it. [contact detail removed]

I have two teenage boys so I do appreciate the whole of the education process!

I would be happy to tutor Maths up to Year 11 and English to Year 6

Availability: Daytime and evenings on Mondays and Wednesdays. Other evening times may be available.
I am happy to tutor at home or I can travel to you but I would need to charge an extra £5/10 to cover time and petrol.
