I have been teaching for 14 years and have had a variety of curriculum and pastoral roles in my career so far and am currently in post as Assistant Head.

I pride myself in balancing the importance of subject knowledge with the skills needed to pass public examinations. I am a passionate teacher and I have seen phenomenal success with students I have taught with % pass rate being over 85% throughout my career. I have also been involved in the prestigious Princes Teaching Institute as a teacher leader, providing inspirational INSET to newly qualified teachers.

I have recent experience of teaching AQA and Edexcel GCSE and Edexcel A Level. I have also been a senior examiner for AQA History A Level. My specialisms are 20th Century British History, 20th Century American History, and Tudors.

Availability: Evenings and Weekends. I would rather tutor at home but I will travel locally. I live in Birmingham but work in Solihull so there is scope for a wider area for me to cover.

Willing to travel: 8 miles

Experience: I have tutored AS and A2 students most recently but would be also able to tutor GCSE.
