Computer science student offering maths and computing lessons up to A level in London. Previously, I have taught maths up to A level, but I am also happy to teach computer science (also up to A level). My lessons tend to last for one hour, with the option of a short break in the middle, as I understand that many students find it difficult to concentrate for such a long period of time. The exact content of my lessons varies; I am happy to assist students who have already identified specific topics they wish to work on. Alternatively, I am also open to going through past paper questions to highlight areas that require work. I set homework, which generally consists of questions that I devise to be specifically tailored to the student`s needs along with past paper questions. I find this to be important for the retention of knowledge between sessions, but I do not expect students to spend any longer than one hour per week on homework that I set.

Experience: I have been giving maths lessons for two years, having taught five students. One of my maths students passed their maths GCSE after receiving tuition from me, having previously failed twice. I have an A* grade in maths A level, and have just finished the second year of my MEng computer science degree at the University of Southampton. I am on track for a 1st, with an average mark of 74% so far. At the end of first year, I was presented with an award for being one of the top 10 achievers in my year of over 200 students.
