Fully qualified independent school teacher. 2021 results 73% A* at GCSE and 100% A* to A at A-level. I have a PGCE in secondary history 11-18. I am also trained to new GCSE and A-Level specifications for History GCSE and A-Level and also A-Level Government & Politics with both Edexcel and AQA exam boards.

I have experience teaching at state, Grammar and independent schools with Experience in educational management as a Subject Leader of Politics. I have a good record for success in 11+ Kent test examinations and excellent results at both KS4 and 5. As well as this I have aided pupils towards successful university placements, including Oxbridge. I have extended qualifications in education from the University College of London and have attended training sessions for both AQA and Edexcel examination boards to improve examination writing and grades.

I have a passion to teach and take pride in helping students achieve their potential, both in work at school and outside of school. My specialty is teaching students aged 16+ but I also teach KS3 and can help engage pupils in their learning.

I have experience teaching to Various exam specifications having attended training sessions for Edexcel, AQA and iGCSE and an excellent knowledge of assessment at both GCSE and A-Level for the subjects I teach.

I have a Upper Second class BA Hons in history from the University of Leicester, being a top UK and International university, having studied a broad range of historical periods and politics/ philosophical modules too. I completed a qualification in mentoring from the University of Leicester, mentoring first year history students and have leadership qualifications in educational leadership from UCL.

I believe my key skills are helping students understand what is required to achieve the highest grade levels, knowing how the exam board assesses in detail first and transferring that into written technique to ensure students write what is expected from the examination boards to achieve the best results, from 11+ to KS5.
