Information about Holly

Hi, I am 25 years old and currently live in Henley-on-Thames training as a professional athlete with the GB Rowing Team.

In 2017 I graduated from Cambridge University with a high 2.i in Biological Anthropology. I have a passion for learning and love trying to get the best of out people I work with.

I have previously been a tutor in GCSE English, Science and Maths but also have GCSE qualifications in History and Geography as well as A-levels in Biology, Chemistry, Economics, Geography and General Studies.

I love interacting with new people and making a difference to the education of others. I believe education is the greatest tool anyone can be given and I hope I can make a real difference to the people I tutor.

Availability: I am currently training full-time with the GB Rowing Team and train in the morning and early afternoons every day.

I am available every evening from 4pm and on Wednesday`s and Saturday`s from 2pm.

NB: The team periodically goes abroad for 2-3 week training camps during which time I would be unavailable aside from online interactions.

Willing to travel: 10 miles

Experience: I spent a number of hours tutoring students in the Cambridge area while at University and have also worked with a couple of students in Henely over the last 2 years.
My first student in Cambridge was struggling with her foundation level English GCSE and after a few sessions and some confidence building managed to jump two grade boundaries in her next assessment. This really spurred me on to engage with more students as I get great joy from helping others and am willing to devote the time to see real improvement no matter how great the obstacle.
