Hello,
Having retired from full-time teaching in 2016, after some 20 years in the profession, I have been tutoring in the Chesterfield/ Matlock area for 6 years.
I have grown to love this role and derive great satisfaction from `moving students on` and helping them develop an interest in the subjects.
I am able to produce excellent feedback comments/ references and have used my extensive experience to adapt teaching styles to many different needs and requirements of the students.
Successes include facilitating grade improvements from E to c and from C to A.
I offer, and I quote: `individually planned sessions, a friendly,approachable style and excellent subject knowledge` (not my words!)

In 2006 I studied a Physics conversion course through the Open University which enabled me to teach physics upto A level, which I did so for many years.

I have extensive experience tutoring exam boards AQA, OCR and WJEC (eduqas).
