I have always been enthused about Science and Maths, Biology in particular. I continued to study Biology at degree level and graduated with a 1st Class BSc (Hons) in 2014. Since then I have carried out a PhD in Microbial Ecology and Evolution. I have also self-taught a number of computer coding languages, with application in science and maths, including R, Python and HTML (with CSS).

I enjoy passing on my enthusiasm for learning and find that private tutoring is the most engaging environment to do so. Each student thinks and learns differently, therefore, it`s best to tailor my teaching style to each student`s learning style. This helps not only with learning, but also understanding topics.

I am happy to teach students of all abilities and at any pace. Lessons can focus on specific gaps in the student`s knowledge or more general topics.

Availability: I am available all day and evening Mon - Fri.

Experience: I have previous experience tutoring GCSE level Maths and Science. While studying for my doctorate, I tutored both practical and academic Biology at degree level. My PhD studies have enabled me to present and discuss scientific principles internationally, with a variety of public and academic audiences.
