"Paula graduated from Oxford University with a BA in History, achieved 4 A*s in her A Levels (Maths, Literature, History and Spanish) and is a professional teacher and tutor, with over five years of tutoring experience both online and face-to-face.

Paula is quick to make students realize their own, often unidentified, capacity for critical analysis, given that she can quickly identify the ways that a student may think and is unable to vocalize. She also helps students translate their thoughts and analysis into essays. Paula prioritises reigniting interest in the subject as the fastest and surest way to enhance a student´s capacities in the long run.She helps students connect with the concepts and themes in the syllabus. She never assumes a student´s capacity or performance based on what they can already say or write.

Paula is known to tutor with the energy and enthusiasm of someone who wants to help students acquire written confidence and develop their critical thinking. With a strong interest in pedagogy and with 800+ hours behind her, Paula creates a learning environment where students can afford to make mistakes and therefore learn to identify and fix them by themselves. She believes in helping students become autonomous, eager and confident students who will be able to understand, question and analyse even the most difficult concepts."
