Information about Peter

I am available to tutor Mathematics and Physics to anyone who needs it, from GCSE level to entrance exams for a teaching qualifications. In addition to teaching Physics and Mathematics, I am also wiling to give university application advice - I offer a Personal Statement reading service, which includes proof-reading (£5) and sessions for more discussion and advice (£25). I am a strong believer that the approach to teaching is what makes Mathematics and Physics so unpopular, and that the approach to learning is the key to success in these fields. In addition to teaching you the content, I also teach you learning techniques which I firmly believe have allowed me to achieve 2:1s and 1sts in several key modules during my degree studies.

I am unable to teach at my own home, so we would have to meet at a location within Wells.

Experience: I have tutored several GCSE and A-level students, one of whom is now studying at Trinity College, Cambridge. I have also acted as a student ambassador for UCL and I have given several talks to A-level students about studying Physics at University, in addition to teaching a masterclass in Quantum Mechanics to a small group of Year 12 students.

I am DBS checked through my work as a choral scholar, and I have undergone safeguarding training for work with children and young adults.
