I have a first class degree in Biology and I am a fully qualified science teacher, teaching at an `outstanding` school within Bedford.
Since starting my teacher training, I have been strongly focused and have cultivated my passion for my subject as well as for the teaching profession. To be able to give back my knowledge and my desire for science to the pupils that I teach I aim to continue this passion and desire in my work. My specialism is within Biology but I am very comfortable with my knowledge in all three sciences. As a keen scientist I am always willing to learn, research more information and use it to better my teaching, my knowledge and therefore the pupils who I teach.
Being a teacher with high expectations, I strive to educate pupils to their highest possible means. I want to be part of a generation that is at the forefront for innovation and encourages future generations to develop new skills. I like to show commitment to my teaching and pupils in all aspects of their learning. I am confident that my academic background and curriculum development skills would be successfully utilised in 1:1 tuition.

Experience: I am a qualified Science Teacher (BSc, PGCE, QTS) with high expectations and I strive to educate pupils to their highest possible means. I have experience teaching inside and outside of the classroom and want to help educate and make a positive impact. I offer tuition in all three sciences (Biology, Chemistry and Physics.As a qualified teacher I have been rated `Outstanding`. I get to work with students all day, every day, and am constantly searching for the most effective teaching methods to support my students’ learning. Within my school, I have been given the opportunity to share good practice with the wider staff community on several occasions after being noted as an exceptional teacher. In addition, I strive to keep up-to-date with the various exam specifications to ensure that what I am teaching is relevant and supports exam success, whilst not omitting any interest building anecdotes which help build the passion around a subject. Additionally to this, I have marked and assessed for all 3 of the major examination boards (AQA, OCR and Pearson/Edexcel) so I am extremely familiar with all specifications and papers.
