I am a 19 year old student whom has just left school and is currently on a gap year. I have chosen to become a tutor this year because I feel that I can give students a missing touch that most tutors in my experience miss. Firstly that would be my age. Being 19 I have a fresh memory of recent exam papers and question wordings. I can relate to your child or student because of my age also and therefore am able to help them to learn and listen using modern techniques. Secondly having struggled as a youngster myself and managed to gain A* A A in my A levels in Economics, Politics and History and now going on to study a Combined Honours degree at Durham University. I am living proof that the right revision technique and hard work can result in anyone having the ability to outperform those of more natural intelligence. I will use my revision technique of which i guarantee tremendous success with, as well as my recent knowledge on university personal statements and applications (having received all 5 university offers from Russell group universities. Thirdly, I can relate to younger learners having taught and helped my younger siblings study, Not only this I still have all the material from their recent exams as well as my knowledge from doing the entrance exams, 11 plus and more modern curriculum that most tutors miss out on. Finally not only do I work as a tutor but I am offering taster courses for those wanting to try out subjects this summer before taking them up the next year. Whether it be GCSE or A Levels.
