My name is Kate and I am a PhD student at the University of Warwick. I have a first class degree in Medical Microbiology and Virology, which has given me an extensive knowledge into a broad range of subjects including biology, maths, advanced statistics, and biochemistry.

I am keen to help both students who have problems with basic maths and keeping up at school and those who want to go beyond the curriculum. I believe an understanding how to answer exam questions is key to exceeding grade targets, and am keen to ensure students will enjoy learning while achieving their best in exams as well as having a good understanding of the subject.

I am friendly and personable, and would like to bring some fun into learning!

Experience: I believe I have a sound academic background to help students achieve their potential. I also have two younger brothers that I have given help to on numerous occasions!
I have had experience with teaching children to ride, and have led school visits on a public farm teaching about food and animal welfare for 4 months in the summer.
