Information about Andrew
***University of Oxford - First Class Honours***
***Full Time Professional Online Tutor***
I am an experienced, professional tutor, with an approach that has been proven to help my students rediscover their enjoyment of learning, understand each topic, and improve their final exam grades.
I have over three years experience tutoring A level students in Maths and Physics. I also provide Personal Statement critiques, as well as assistance with entrance exams and interviews. I completed my degree in Engineering, Economics and Management from the University of Oxford in July 2016, so have an up to date knowledge of the admissions process.
Feedback from previous students:
Sarah (5/5): (A-Level Maths) Andrew is a patient and friendly tutor who explains subjects very well and in different ways to ensure understanding. My son is really enjoying his lessons with him and is beginning to feel much more confident in the areas that he was struggling with. We would definitely recommend him.
Pamela (5/5): (A-Level Physics) After a trial period of 3 lessons my son has regained his confidence and interest in Physics. Andrew has an excellent manner for dealing with young people, which is authoritative without exercising too much authority. It comes from a mixture of his command of the topic and his understanding of what the problems are that A`level students face. I would whole-heartedly recommend him as a tutor.
IMPORTANT: I specialise in online tutoring over Skype. This means that I can create audio and visual recording of lessons, for students to use as a reference. It also eliminates travel time, so allows me extra time to create specialised, interactive lessons.

Experience: I began tutoring maths in high school to KS3 students. I find this hugely rewarding and began tutoring A level students again whilst studying Engineering at university.
Over three years I have refined my tutoring method so that I now feel confident I can help each student achieve huge improvement in their understanding and exam grade. This has been evident in the results of my students. For example one of my recent students achieved an A in his physics A level, having received a C the year before in his AS.
