Information about Robert
I am a 60 year old retired microbiologist who has built a career as a scientist conducting research and investigations into a wide range of food safety issues. That was the easy bit. The real challenge was to explain the results and their significance to people so that they could take the appropriate actions needed to stay safe.
I have the gift of being able to take complex issues and make them simple and easy to understand by others. One way I do this is by making the issues relevant to the person I am trying to teach, often using analogies like cars or football or whatever topic they are interested in. Above all I believe that learning should be fun, no matter how serious the subject. I cant help it. I have a deep passion for science and teaching which gets me excited and is infectious

My son was tutored by Bob. He found it highly productive, with Bob being highly knowledgeable, with the gift of being able to explain concepts clearly.
