I have nine years of experience as a tutor and educator, teaching students from three to seventy years old, including lecturing at university level. I tutor literacy and numeracy to years one to five, and can assist pupils in preparation for 7+ and 8+ exams. I also teach verbal and non-verbal reasoning.

I`ve taught creative writing to 11-25 year olds within formal accredited courses and arts summer schools.

One of my specialist areas is creative writing, drama and acting. Aside teaching, I have been working as a professional playwright, actor and director for twelve years. I have extensive experience in teaching practical acting skills to all ages, including training budding young professionals at the conservatoire-style drama school Arts University Bournemouth. I also have a great deal of experience in preparing actors for Drama School and professional auditions.

I offer students a structured learning environment and the satisfaction of achieving targets, whilst simultaneously prioritising enjoyment of the subject matter. I pride myself in my ability to adapt my approach to the requirements of my students, building their confidence in order to encourage -term enthusiasm for the subject.

Availability: Though I currently have limited availability, I can fit in a few more weekly sessions.
