Hej!
My name is Cecilia and I am tri-lingual in Swedish, English and German.
I am a native Swedish girl and I have been in London for 9 years. I hold a National Diploma in Musical Theatre in London and I studied at The Stockholm Academy of Dramatic Arts in Stockholm.
For me it is important that you feel safe with me as a tutor and that we have a creative, fun and great environment.
I will hand tailor your lesson plan so it will suit your needs and adapt to your level and wishes.
Weather you are learning Swedish because you are travelling, got a partner who is from Sweden or need the confidence for your presentation, I will help with my experience and knowledge.
I focus on pronunciation but aim to make the learning process fun and relaxed.
I will give you the tools and exercises you need to full-fill your journey of the language.
Lessons are a minimum of 60 min but most students prefer 90 min to 2 hour lessons.
My passion are my languages as it will open up to explore the world.

Availability: Mainly weekday - any time but very flexible even during weekends.
Skype, face-time or in person.

Experience: Diploma in Musical Theatre Studies.

Having spent a year trying to learn Swedish through sites like Babble and Duolingo; I found myself in a position where I couldn’t understand what I was learning. Cilla is an excellent teacher who works in a way that works best for you, teaching in an engaging and targeted way. I`ve learnt more in the several sessions we`ve had than I have in over a year of self learning. I would 100% recommend Cilla if you`re interested in learning Swedish

Cilla is so kind and creative with sessions. I was so anxious during my first session but she was amazing at putting me at ease and making the session fun. Since the first session COVID-19 happened but Cilla has been so flexible about fitting in my session (since I count as an essential worker). She has also been able to provide intensive lessons for my brother who lives in Sweden and is learning the language. I really recommend her. She’s wonderful.
