I am fully qualified and dynamic English teacher with almost a decade of both teaching and tutoring experience. I enjoy sharing my passion for my subject with my students, and have a proven track record in my academic career of helping my pupils make exceptional progress in English, achieving top results at GCSE and A-Level. I have taught in outstanding grammar and independent schools in and around north-west London, and was the Key Stage 3 Coordinator and Second in Department at a top-performing school in Hertfordshire.

I am also an examiner for GCSE English Language.

I also have a professional interest in special learning difficulties, and have completed further SpLD training in supporting students with dyslexia and difficulties with reading and writing through the University of London.

My tutoring style is nurturing and encouraging. For me, effective tutoring begins with building trust and rapport with my students, in turn allowing me to develop your child`s confidence in the subject matter.

Experience: I achieved As and A*s at GCSE and three As at A-Level (the top grade at the time) before reading English at the University of Southampton, in which I achieved a First-Class Honours. I completed my Masters in Literature and Society and the University of Edinburgh, before returning to London to complete my PGCE at the Institute of Education, qualifying in 2015. Since then, I have taught in top-performing schools in and around north-west London
