Ashley

Hi ! I`m Ashley, I’m 34 and live in Hackney. I`m an experienced Primary school teacher- mostly key stage 2 children but I can teach all ages. I have been teaching in the UK since 2012. I have worked as a teacher in Bangkok, Abu Dhabi and across London. In Abu Dhabi I did a lot of private tutoring with children aged 4- 12. I love travelling, cooking, baking, singing and yoga.

Experience: I spent 1 year in Bangkok teaching in an international school, my class were a mix of Y1-Y2 children. Here I taught all the grammar, spelling, writing, reading and phonics.

I qualified with QTS with an outstanding grade from London South Bank University in 2012. I then taught Y4, Y6, then 2 years of Y3 in Abu Dhabi. I did a lot of private tutoring in the UAE, where I taught phonics, grammar, reading, maths, and preparation for the 11+ exam.

When I returned to the UK I worked in a variety of schools (private and state) as a supply teacher. Since 2018 I have been working again as a full-time primary school teacher in Y4 and then Y6.
I have taught mostly in KS2, but I have a lot of experience also teaching KS1.
