I am highly motivated, methodical, and organised individual with excellent communication and pedagogical skills, and a proven track record in education. I have a full and current Enhanced DBS.

My specialist subjects are English (Primary, GCSE and EFL), French (up to A Level included), Geography (up to GCSE included), Business Studies (ditto), and History (up to A Level included). I have a Master`s degree in history and a Bachelor`s degree in English (English-French translation). I have the C-TEFLA (Certificate – Teaching of English as a Foreign Language, International House, London, on behalf of University of Cambridge, 1992).

I have close to 15 years` teaching experience: secondary education, private tuition, English as a foreign language (EFL), further education, and university education (English and media studies).

Apart from teaching, I have worked extensively in translation, journalism, and public relations. I have excellent cross-cultural awareness, with a keen interest in all aspects of education I am bilingual English-French and have a very good command of Spanish.

I live in South-East London and am looking for students across the south-east, but will look at every request on a case-by-case basis.

Availability: Mon to Fri included, preferably afternoon/ evening after 3.00pm.

Experience: I have taught extensively as a private tutor as well as in secondary and adult education, and at university. I am bilingual English-French. My academic background is in history/geography and languages (English/French), as well as economics and law (as minor subjects).

In the past year and a half, I have been teaching English – Primary, Special Needs (dyslexia), GCSE and EFL – to students (one on one) on a part-time and freelance basis also, I have taught Geography and Business Studies up to GCSE included as well as History up to A Level included.

I am currently working across South-East London (Lee, Catford, Blackheath, Eltham, Bromley and Bexleyheath) for various tuition agencies I also have various private students.

I am preparing pupils for the 7+, the 11+, GCSE and A Level I am familiar with various exam boards in Greater London. Classes are in the afternoon and evening.

I taught history-geography and French in secondary for 3 years. I have taught English as a Foreign Language (EFL) in Paris and London (for a total of close to 10 years: groups and one on one).

I have taught at university as a Visiting Lecturer in Paris and London, covering various subjects, including translation (English/French) and media studies (University of Westminster). I have helped prepare students for the Institute of Linguists exam (City University).
