Information about Andrew

Clarity is the hallmark of my teaching and I am confident that I am able to help. I am one of the most driven, buccaneering and charismatic tutor you can find...so I invite you to use my knowledge and join my one-way, high-speed bandwagon to legal excellence. You will have no regrets!

I have also helped students with their DISSERTATION, who are reading for the International Commercial Law LLM at the University of Westminster. If you need any help in drafting and proof-reading, please feel free to contact me.

I am experienced in helping students in their law COURSEWORKS/ASSIGNMENTS - both assessed and non-assessed so please do not hesitate to ask me for help should you need help. My track record to date is 70% of those courseworks scored a 2:1 and 30% scored a first class mark. This is what i mean by RESULTS-ORIENTATED.

I also offer specialised services and assistance in take-home examinations and also a personalised service in writing out 2:1 model solutions/answers to past exam papers.

My professional touch is reflected in my expertise in teaching students legal writing, helping students to answer legal questions in their exams effectively and score the best possible marks. There is a technique to it and I am a master in that.

Throughout the past years, I have tutored students from the University of Buckingham, Westminster, Middlesex, Hertfordshire, King`s, LSE, SOAS and Queen Mary. So, I am very familiar with the law syllabuses and exam style of these universities, and my students usually score a 2:1 after the intensive revision classes.

For the University of Hertfordshire, I am also very experienced in helping students with their legal assignments and MCQ-style assessment. So, if you want a boost in your second or third year studies and need a 2:1 mark at least, you are welcome to seek my help.

I have tutored two students from LONDON BUSINESS SCHOOL in their law modules and assignments. The subjects include inter alia, Business law, Human Rights law, Contract, tort and employment law.

I am currently tutoring students reading law with the Open University, College of Law in the subjects of land law, equity, contract law, constitutional law and criminal law.

**I have recently tutored three LPC students successfully in their resit papers in Corporate Finance (Debt and Equity finance) and Private Acquisitions - from BPP and from the University of Law.

I am also a specialist in assisting students in the QLTS exams for professional lawyers in other jurisdictions to qualify as English solicitors.

Recent keynotes also include the successful tutoring of GDL students reading for the program at BPP and the Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU).

I know what I do best with no fancy teaching...I am just focused in delivering effective results!

I can also lecture on SKYPE, having experience doing podcasts before.

Unlike other tutors, I only specialise in lecturing LAW because that is my passion and what I do best which is to help students score the First class and at the least, 2:1 they need for a brighter future ahead.

I am a very approachable, friendly and passionate person
Experienced and unconventional with teaching tactics
My all-round experience allows me to teach students the key points examiners are looking for
Exam-orientated style of teaching designed to achieve the best possible marks in the examinations
Heavy focus on teaching students to answer legal problem and essay questions
A lot of case analyses to discuss legal concepts, doctrines and principles
The entire lecture will be built on technique and helping students answer the exam questions.
Very versatile teaching which will be tailored to the student`s request.

CUSTOM-MADE NOTES PROVIDED ACCORDING TO THE STUDENT`S SYLLABUS - so there is no need for students to buy expensive Q & A books. I will do the research of the books in the library and deliver the notes totally free to the students with the conclusion of each lesson to build on the study!

My passion and style is also particularly suited to students NEW TO THE STUDY OF LAW including FIRST-YEAR UNDERGRADUATES.

I am also effective at helping students during LAST-MINUTE REVISION score good marks by planning out and implementing an intensive study regime

In short, if you want to score top marks in your law exams and gain an all-round perspective of the law in practice, I am the tutor to serve your needs!

Excellent tutor!

Andrew Tan never called to discuss my requirements having paid for his services. The number he has given on his profile, is a bogus number.
