I am a qualified teacher with an enhanced DBS. I specialise in health and social care and psychology but will happily help with other subjects such as sociology, numeracy and literacy.
I am experienced particularly as a private tutor helping university students with essay planning, essay writing and exam preparation.
Availability: I have flexible availability for remote support. This can be via video sessions such as teams or zoom, or I can support with exam preparation and exploring your written work, setting mock papers and giving advice on how to improve your work.
Willing to travel: Home Only
Experience: I have worked with SEN and mainstream children up to Degree Level. I have supported Key stages 1 and 2 numeracy and English GCSE psychology, Sociology, Child Care and Psychology at A Level and Degree Level as well as various BTEC qualifications. I am open to support other subjects.

Very nice person but completely unreliable. If she turns up she`s always very late. She has a host of reasons for not coming. It`s a real shame because my daughter really liked her. Continuity & consistency are so important whilst learning , unfortunately this is not possible with Louise.
Tutors Response :
I am very sorry that after 18 months of last having contact with me you feel the need to leave such negative feedback. You had not done this directly to myself at the time or even since. I had a serious health condition and had to cease face to face tutoring and in fact even my permanent work to focus on my health and young family.
I really don`t see why someone would wait so long to air their grievances.
I work very hard as a disabled person with my students getting very good grades as a result of my hard work above and beyond what I get paid to do.
Even us tutors are human and can become very ill without warning or wanting to.
I am sorry that you felt so negative even after all this time to leave such feedback without feeling like you could contact me directly.

This tutor let me down at the last minute and I have not heard from her since so would definitely not recommend her. I then had to pay out another £22 to obtain another tutors details and although I requested a refund of my fee I have heard nothing!

Louise is a really good tutor, would highly recommend her, she goes out of her way to help you. She is very busy but fits in time for you whether it is face to face or through emails, she always makes time. She is very helpful and a brilliant tutor!
