I have just finished studying my A Levels at King Edward VI Grammar School, Chelmsford (2016 - 2018), achieving the grades A*AAA in A Level Economics, Maths, Chemistry and Politics, and an A in AS Further Maths. I also achieved an A* in EPQ.

With these results, I am in the top 15% of my year in Economics (1 of 9 to achieve the A*) and I scored the highest UMS in my year for Government and Politics at 361/400 (90.25%). I have also written a highly commended Economics essay for the John Locke Institute Essay Competition 2018, which was chosen from entries from 101 countries.

I am able to tutor all exam boards, although for A Level Government and Politics, I am only able to tutor UK Government and Politics and Ideologies, since my specification did not cover US Government and Politics.

Availability: I am currently undertaking a gap year and I would like to tutor students in a variety of subjects, as I believe that education can unlock a realm of possibilities. I am able to travel locally or meet in a convenient location (such as a Library or a coffee shop). If this is not possible, I am able to tutor online.

Experience: At sixth form, I undertook the role of a Junior Economics Mentor, whereby I supported a year 12 student to build knowledge, essay writing skills and exam technique. This ensures that I can explain concepts clearly and concisely, both on paper and verbally.

I was also a senior editor for the 2017/18 edition of the KEGS Economics Journal, whereby I proofread many essays, ensuring that they were all sound. I thus believe that I will be a useful essay marker for students, particularly for Economics and Politics.
