I am a kind, patient and qualified teacher and I`m very versatile when it comes to teaching English, because I like words and I also like students.

I am very happy to help students with homework, reading, writing and spelling problems and I`m really good at supporting the writing of personal statements for UCAS applications and CVs.

Availability: Monday and Tuesday evenings.
Wednesday day time til 4.00.
Friday all day

Experience: I have worked as an editor for many years for publishers such as Macmillan Education, The Open University, Blackwell, Heinemann and Immersive Education, so my language skills are sharp.

I have taught English for more than 8 years in nursery, primary, secondary and adult classes in Pakistan and Uganda and in Oxford and London, I have tutored individuals and small groups, of all ages.

When I am not in London, I work in rural Uganda, where schools have no reading material, and I support primary school teachers to produce literacy learning resources in local languages.
