I recognise that the role of the teacher is not only to teach the lesson, but to encourage the receptivity of the student. Making a child feel at ease is, therefore, my priority, as it`s the best way to support their learning. I find my warm, light-hearted humour instils my students with the confidence to explore their ideas, even when they find a task chging.

I teach English, maths and reasoning (verbal and non-verbal) at primary level and English language and literature secondary - Year 7 to A Level.
I have tutored children through the competitive secondary school entrance exams (11+ and 13+), and my students have gone on to places at schools such as Mill Hill County High School, South Hampstead School for Girls, Tiffin, Northwood College, Islamia (one scholarship), City of London Boys (3 scholarships to this school).
I have a lot of experience of working with children and young people with additional needs, such as autism, ADHD, depression and anxiety, as well as behaviour disorders, such as Oppositional Defiant Disorders.
