Information about David
Born in Lancashire, growing up in Nottinghamshire, I studied at Oxford and graduated with a 2:1 in Classics and Modern Languages. After work in the entertainment and banking sectors, I took my PGCE and moved to a post at Ipswich School, where I worked for 28 years. I am currently semi-retired and working either from home or in colleges of further education. I live with my family in the centre of Ipswich.
Availability: I am available most Monday-Wednesdays, but not evenings, except during school holidays when I can be more flexible. Friday afternoons are also possible.
Willing to travel: 3 miles
Experience: I have three decades` experience as teacher or tutor, mostly in an independent day school, but also in a Sixth Form College, state comprehensive and adult learning colleges. I have taught French to A level and Latin and Spanish to GCSE. I am starting now to teach advanced classes in Latin and beginner groups in Italian. I have also taught Film Studies to A level.

David is an excellent and very knowledgeable Latin tutor to our 12-year-old son who is enjoying the lessons very much so. Davis is also very reliable and makes his lessons interesting.
