Information about Olivia
I graduated from Oxford University, Christ Church, in 2018 with first-class honours in History of Art. During my time at university I was awarded an academic scholarship as well as a Krasis Scholarship from the Ashmolean Museum. After graduating I was awarded The Courtauld Scholarship and undertook a fully funded MA at the Courtauld Institute of Art in medieval art and architecture, achieving distinction. Following my MA I undertook the PGDL (law conversion course) at BPP and was awarded a distinction, averaging 80.75%. As a state educated student, I achieved 8 A* grades and 3 A’s at GCSE, followed by 3 A at A-Level.
I have been successful in securing a number of internships in the commercial art world, as well as at commercial law firms. I have been offered a training contract by Magic Circle law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, commencing August 2022. I would therefore be happy to assist with applications for graduate internships and scholarships as well as Oxbridge admissions, alongside academic tutoring.
My approach to tutoring is encouraging, engaging and personalised. I understand the importance of getting to know my students, in order to understand the ways in which they work best, as well as their strengths and weaknesses. By understanding the end goal for my students, I tailor my tutoring approach to their success.
