Qualified Maths Teacher with over 6 years of experience in Education. Currently teaching at a comprehensive school in London and hold a BSc Hons in Mathematics from Brunel University. I am friendly and patient and can build confidence in students through a range of teaching styles ensuring that they fulfil their potential. From past experience I have been consistently rated as an outstanding tutor as well as a teacher and I am confident that with my positive approach to teaching and clear explanations, students will thrive in the subject and obtain excellent results. I am very familiar with the new curriculum and the different exam boards due to my experience as a qualified Maths teacher, and I continue to update and develop within my subject area for teaching and learning purposes. I have experience tracing a range of levels and needs hence I am able to relieve outstanding lessons to cater for individual needs

Experience: I am a qualified teacher with 6 years of experience in classroom settings and over 8 years of experience teaching tailored maths lessons one-to-one, in groups and online. I hold a degree in Mathematics and have tutored/taught a range of levels up to and including A-levels. My lessons are very well structured and tailored to meet individual needs based on their levels. During the first lesson, I assess the students and create a unique plan based on their needs. I work very closely with parents so that students receive the best possible lesson. My lessons focus on retrieval practice and interlinking topics within maths so that students are confident when they are in lessons at school. I can also work alongside the student’s school’s scheme of work so students may feel confident when they learn maths at school. Over the many years of teaching Mathematics I have strong knowledge of pedagogy and the different teaching approaches to ensure students gain understanding that sticks. I am confident that you/your child will achieve outstanding results as a result.
