I am looking for a tutor for English (Language & Literature) James, my son, is in his GCSE year and struggling. We are hoping to get him up to a C/ equivalent, or at least a D/ equivalent to increase his chances of getting onto the lower of his desired course(s) (Performing Arts). His teacher (and I) think he has got certain ability, but he doesn`t consistently apply himself. (Having said that, I have seen James sometimes genuinely struggle with homework as in generating ideas, for language, and thinking deeper for literature (even when he is keen to get it completed!) James is amiable, respectful of adults, and others, does not misbehave in class, but does not enjoy school work, and is not academic.

Availability: Weekday evenings After 5 pm.
