I have recently retired from teaching after 37 years as a highly motivated teaching professional addressing pupil’s needs and development. I remain motivated by the belief that all children can be successful learners and am enthusiastic with an ability to make learning exciting and enjoyable.
Throughout my teaching career I demonstrated skills in strategic classroom management and effective discipline. Lattperly I particularly enjoyed working with early years groups and individuals, providing specific learning support to develop pupil’s literacy and numeracy skills.

Availability: As I am not in current employment, my availability is flexible.

• Experience of all stages from Primary 1 to 7 (C for E-Early years to 2nd level)

• Extensive CPD portfolio, keeping up to date with new teaching methods and developments
• Leader of school choirs and music lessons
