Hello! I`m a second year history and politics student at the University of Edinburgh who has a passion for tutoring and sharing my love for History.

I truly believe my tutoring style will greatly improve your Child`s confidence in their subject and grades. My tutoring is mostly discussion based as a solid understanding of concepts is key to forming a cohesive essay, as well as a friendly and open tutor-tutee relationship. In addition, my vast knowledge of academic language and a solid essay style and structure can improve your essay grade vastly. When you combine both a great understanding of the topic and an excellent essay style there is no-one that cant write an A* essay!

Aside from my studies, I competed Rowing at a high level throughout my school carer and took a leadership role in the school so understand that time can be very precious and none should be wasted! In my sessions we will dive right in and ensure your child gets some bang for their buck!

Experience: I achieved a First in my 1st year history exams at Edinburgh whilst also leaving school with an A* in History, loosing near to no marks in my Coursework and two A`s in English Literature and Philosophy and Ethics.

Further I achieved A*`s in the following GCSE`s which I would love to tutor:
English Language
English Literature
History
RS
Classical Civilisation.

At my previous school I also ran the history A-Level and GCSE booster clubs which involved teaching the lower years and subsequently marking their essays.

Before my move to Tutor Hunt from private tuition I tutored students in English, RS, History and Classics at varying levels.

Some particular interests and specialities of mine are Post WW2 American History, the History of the Tudors, Weimar Germany and the History of Russia.
