Classes will begin on Saturday 21st September 2019 and will end on the 29th August 2020. The group will be of six or fewer students. Classes are for 2 Hrs/week and daily worksheets are provided for additional practice (45 mins ~ 1 hr per day for 50 weeks).

I spent a full year training my son for his 11+ exam. I ended up with an effective methodology that involves daily practice. It requires a lot of hard work, but as a result, it allows a child to sit the exam very well prepared in all of the subjects.
Probably you are now thinking what I thought two years ago. “My son is bright but has he got what is needed to get a place into grammar?”

If your son or daughter is highly comfortable and with English and Math they definitely have a good chance. Mine is a bright boy similar to your boy or girl, although he wasn’t always the absolute best in English or Math.
He was among the top 150 scores for all Gloucester Grammars (Pate`s, Sir Thomas Rich`s, Marling, The Crypt). He also scored well over the required qualifying scores in other regions including Reading Boys and King Edward IV Camp Hill which are usually among the top 10 grammar schools nationally.

During the preparation, we will cover all these topics extensively.

Availability: Classes are on Saturdays from 9:00AM - 11:00AM. The first lesson will be on Saturday 21st September 2019.

Willing to travel: Home Only

Experience: The lessons will are two hours weekly (Saturdays). However, there will be daily worksheets for 52 weeks. These worksheets will include English and Math every day of the week and non-verbal reasoning 2 or 3 times a week. It is expected that the child will spend between 45mins and 1 hour each day.

Parents will be given the answer key for the worksheets. It is fundamental that they correct the kid`s work every day.

During classes, there will be a weekly test. From April onwards, there will be bi-weekly mock tests.

I am happy to meet parents 1:1 to explain the whole study plan and to provide sample worksheets. Parent`s won`t be charged for that meeting.
