Information about James

I am a Biology PhD Student and currently teach Masters and Undergraduate Biology and Veterinary students.

I have a very good general knowledge of biology, chemistry and Maths for GCSE level. Also am confident as a tutor teaching biology at an A level, Bsc and Msc level...especially in molecular biology, cell biology, diseases, virology, bacteriology, genetics and ecology.

I work at the royal vet college studying parasite proteins and genetics and am often working hard with everything from molar concentrations to protein folding so have a very good general knowledge of biology and its associated sciences.

Availability: Mon-Fri after 6, Weekends.

Willing to travel: 5 miles

Experience: I currently teach undergraduate students genomics and protein extraction techniques at the royal vet college one day a week as part of my PhD.

Last year I worked in Basel (Switzerland) in the Swiss Tropical School and again worked with Masters students for 8 months of several rounds of 3 week intensive studies of 5 hours a day.

Relating to teaching languages I have lived in France and Spain for over 2 years swapping languages and teaching english from 16 - 50 year olds so feel I have a very good experience at teaching, listening and understanding problems people may have to try and resolve their misunderstanding.
