I`m looking for a tutor for my daughter who is doing her final year of A levels at Sir John Deane`s college in Northwich doing Maths, Physics and Chemistry.

We live in Sandymoor, Runcorn, 5 mins from the new bridge, and have availability mostly on Mon, Tues, Wed, and Thursday evenings, or some Saturday mornings if that`s more convenient.

We`re initially thinking 3 x 1 hour sessions per week would be sensible, one for each subject per week.

Having been getting A`s and B`s for most of her class work, my daughter got C, E, U, U in her AS level mocks! She was then diagnosed with dyslexia (full Diagnostic Assessment Report available if required), so she now gets 25% extra time in exams.

She subsequently achieved 4 B`s in all her AS exams and is currently targeted at 3 A`s at A level, however she has applied to university to do an MEng and requires A*AA for her 1st choice university, hence she needs a bit of a boost to ensure this.

One concern we have is we don`t want tutoring to increase her homework workload. It`s already a struggle for her to do her current homework with her other activities, so want a tutor to help explain her current work, not just load more on top.

Possibly also after school on Tuesdays and Fridays in the Library at Sir John Deane`s College in Northwich.
