Willing to travel: 8 miles
Experience:
I assisted the English department in my secondary school and sixth form in leading an intensive English mentoring programme, in which I trained other student mentors and helped teachers come up with exercises the students were to complete to enhance their writing style and exam technique.
Whilst travelling during my gap year, I had the opportunity to teach English to young children in a township in Cape Town, South Africa. In addition, I had the privilege to work with a Human Right`s NGO in the Philippines. I independently planned and executed Philosophy & Ethics lessons as part of the provision of non-formal education to children in the Rescue Every Child Today project.
