I live up in the north of the UK, am married with grown up children and grandchildren.

Availability: My preference is online teaching, so I am available to offer expert English/English Literature tuition to students up and down the UK and internationally.

Experience: I am a recently retired Head of English: I ran a large department in a comprehensive school. As a consequence, I have extensive experience in preparing children and young adults for their GCSE and A level examinations in English and English Literature. I am currently Principal Examiner for English with OCR. I also train examiners to mark GCSE examinations in English for several examination boards. In very recent years, and since I retired, I have authored text books in teaching English Literature at GCSE. I am most happy to offer online tuition to learners up and down the UK.
