Silvia

Hello, my name is Silvia and I am a first-language English (ESL / EFL) and Romanian tutor.

I have been teaching both English and Romanian online since 2013 to students of all ages and levels. I am an avid traveller and I love teaching students from all over the world.

I have a degree in law from King`s College London and a master`s degree in International Politics from the University of Bucharest. I am currently living in Bucharest.

My hobbies are working out, reading and, of course, learning languages.

My teaching style includes the following:

(1) a focus on conversation;

(2) I use flashcards individually-tailored for each student which get recycled every lesson using the Leitner system (spaced repetition), in order to ensure that the information reaches the student`s long-term memory; and

(3) using engaging and quality content for listening, writing and reading.

Availability: I have a flexible schedule and classes can be booked based on your availability.
