I have a 1st class BA (Hons) degree in French and Spanish from Newcastle University and extensive experience in teaching. My current job as an au pair has strengthened my ability to build a rapport with children and young adults, while my enthusiasm and passion for languages is clearly transmitted through my work and dedication.

Availability: I am available on weekdays between 9:00am and 2:50pm, and evenings after 5:30pm.

Experience: I have accrued several years worth of experience working with children and young people from ages 3-18, including a varied range of backgrounds, abilities and cultures. I have previously successfully delivered tutoring to GCSE French students and have experience teaching languages in schools, especially in teaching English as a foreign language. Most recently I spent 4 months working as an English teacher in Peru, and prior to this I also taught English in Paris. My time living abroad not only solidified my knowledge of each language but also allowed me to develop my teaching techniques and excellent communication skills.
Through my degree at Newcastle University I have developed excellent language skills in both French and Spanish, achieving a 1st overall, therefore I am confident in teaching these languages to a high standard up from primary up to A Level standard.
