I have been teaching English (EFL) for over 20 years and have recently returned to the UK after living and working in Spain for the last 10 years. I have taught a mixture of general English, Business English and exam practise (particularly IELTS) to all levels. Before the first lesson I will send you a free level test to identify areas to work on and tailor the classes to your needs. I have lots of materials to make the classes both fun and effective.
I am friendly and patient and want you to feel comfortable and confident when using English.

Availability: Monday - Friday mornings, afternoon, evenings
(occasionally Saturday mornings)

Experience: I have taught in classrooms and online here in UK and abroad (Turkey, Germany, Spain) and love meeting people from different cultures. In the last few years I have focused on helping people reach their band scores for IELTS and PTE exams. In particular I find that students need help with academic language and structure (for both speaking and writing parts of their exams).
I have taught ESOL in England and worked for companies such as Siemens and Audi in Germany, delivering in-house Business English courses. In both Spain and Turkey I taught all levels of ability and also wrote questions for the university entrance examinations.
