I am a motivated and well organised individual with a passion for teaching. I thoroughly enjoy working with children and helping them to improve in their studies and see concepts they were previously unable to see. I take time to understand the student as an individual and help them accordingly to their mindset, abilities and learning methods. I adapt my approach around the individual and my focus remains fully on the child to help spark motivation from themselves.

Availability: I usually prefer the evenings, but my hours are flexible and I can suit them around your schedule.

Experience: April 2018 - Present: Tutor in Watford. Teaching groups of children aged 7-18, to help them with their school studies and exams.
April 2018 - September 2018: Private Tutor at the London [contact detail removed] of Tutors. Helping a Special Educational Needs 9 year old student with her reading, writing, school homework and physical education.
September 2016 - Present: Private tutoring for 3-5 11+ students. Teaching Mathematics, English (including writing and comprehension), non verbal reasoning, verbal reasoning.
September 2015 - Present: Part time job as a Junior Tennis Coach (private and group) - this has enabled me to mature into the responsible and confident individual that I am today while also to gain skills in guidance and communication with children. The transferable skills I have developed, to include adapting my teaching methods depending on the age group and personality of the child/children, have helped make me a successful tutor.September 2015 - June 2017: Part time job as a covering teaching assistant at Test Teach, tutoring primary school children for their Maths and English 11 plus exams.
September 2012 - June 2017: Roles as a Maths, Biology and English mentor at school - I am paired up with one student and meet weekly to help improve their understanding and hence exam scores.
