Information about Hani
My parents are always ensuring I have the best education possible. Every year since year 6, I have had different tutors in many different subject areas. The word "tutor" use to make me sigh. Until I met my GCSE science tutor. He shaped me from a D student to an A-A* student (in every aspect and every subject). It wasn`t from a magical tutoring technique, it was from him investing every second of each lesson with me and finding potential in me that no one else could find. A great mentor.
This has instilled a passion in me where I want to do the same; to invest every second in me where I can provide the best possible education to someone.
I study Biology, Chemistry and Psychology A-level at Rushcliffe Sixth Form.
I am currently in the process in applying to medicine, the most difficult and competitive university course there is.
It may make you hesitant that I am only 17 years old, but I think it a strength rather than a disadvantage. Being so young enables me to be very relatable to my tutees which helps me to build such a good rapport with them.
It also means that I just sat the same GCSE exams, meaning that I know exactly what its like and what comes up.
Availability: From September 2018:
Monday - Friday: 4PM onwards
Saturday - Sunday: 10AM onwards
I am very flexible, it can be a different day every week to meet your needs.
I offer 60 minute, 90 minute or 120 minute sessions.
My prices will stay low assuming tutoring occurs at my house or somewhere close. If travelling too much becomes expensive I may add a few pounds to the cost to pay for the travel.
It would be my pleasure to provide a 50% discount to students currently receiving free school meals to help provide everyone with a good opportunity. (Proof required)
Willing to travel: 10 miles
Experience: I have had at least 6 tutors during my education, so I know exactly what is needed for efficient, effective and quality tutoring.
As a year 13 A-level student I sit exams from the same exam boards, so I know exactly how brutal they are. Because I am in year 13 currently, I have the most up to date information on how to tackle these harsh exam boards and answer exactly what the mark scheme is looking for.
Furthermore, dealing with exam stress, having healthy study habits and effective study techniques is just as important as the knowledge. As the current leader/organiser of the work and wellbeing group for Rushcliffe Sixthform, I am well equipped with the knowledge and experience to help my tutees with every aspect of being a good, and healthy student. It is a service I offer along with my tutoring.
