• BSc Mathematics, First Class Honours at a Russell Group University in London
• A levels: Mathematics, Further Mathematics, History
• AS Levels: Chemistry, Government and Politics
• Grammar School - passed 11+
• GCSEs 13 A*-B subjects including: Maths, English Language, English Literature, Biology,
Chemistry, Physics (triple sciences), History, French, ICT, Religious Studies, Food Technology,
Music, Citizenship.
• Experience: 6+ years private tutoring experience. Have taught Mathematics to Functional
Skills and GCSE students at a Further Education College. Achieved the highest grade
(84%) in the class for my Teaching module as part of my undergraduate degree. Was also
employed as a project lead to create contextualised maths workbooks for vocational
courses, therefore I have the ability to create resources to suit each student`s ability and learning style. My students have gone onto study Dentistry, Engineering, Mathematics etc.

Availability: I have available slots 6pm onwards Tuesday -Thursday and 9am-11.30am Saturdays. However, weekdays are preferable.

Experience: For Mathematics, I break down complex concepts into small chunks and methodically explain the mathematical concept with a focus on exam technique. Students often make the mistake of rushing to complete past papers, however, I emphasise the importance of thoroughly understanding and practicing core concepts through exam style questions. This way, students can answer any kind of question because they have the core and fundamental knowledge of the material. I like to give and guide students to complete difficult questions in order to boost their confidence in answering the more difficult questions in exams and to build their problem solving skills.

I will continuously assess the students level and confidence in the subject and devise a suitable plan, taking in account their goals and the material needed to be covered for their exams. Alongside this, I will adjust my teaching style and pace to suit the students learning style so that each individual can have a better understanding and be more open to asking and attempting questions without the fear of getting it wrong.
