I am a Ph.D. student at the University of Birmingham for the first year, majoring in mechanical engineering.

Experience: During my undergraduate study, my perseverance and interest in the courses helped me stand out in the class and won me several scholarships, including China National Scholarship, the highest honor for undergraduate students. Then my exceptional academic achievements won me a valuable seat for recommendation into Jilin University, the top university in vehicle engineering, for graduate study. Due to my solid foundation and a keen interest in mathematics and programming, I won Second Prize and First Prize at the national level in the National Graduate Student Mathematics Modeling Contests in 2017 and 2018, respectively. After graduating from Jilin University, I worked at SAIC Motor Passenger Vehicle Company, a leading automotive company, as an Intelligent Auxiliary System Engineer in the Electronics and Electrical Department. In 2021, I have had an application for the Ph.D. position at the University of Birmingham in the Vehicle and Engine Research Centre to deepen and expand my understanding and skills.
Thus, I do very well in mathematics, what`s important, during my study in China, I had a part-time job as a tutor to teach some students` math in high school.
